Baker, MT Survival Story
This recent story is another testament to the strength and durability of a Gerard roof. Don’t let your roof become a secondary choice. Look to Gerard to protect your home and your family today.
Saturday, June 11th 2016, an F3 tornado with winds exceeding 160 miles per hour touched down in Baker, Montana. In a small community of 1,200 residents, the town was devastated but luckily no lives were lost. Three homeowners with Gerard roofs were in the eye of the storm, and all came out with their roofs unscathed. One homeowner had replaced his roof for the 7th time in the past 11 years. Fortunately, this homeowner finally chose Gerard. After seeing damage almost every year, this was the first year his roof was untouched. A city commissioner with a Gerard roof was in the middle of the destruction. She was so impressed with how her roof held up, she is now advising Gerard to be installed on all city buildings. Another resident’s windows were blown out, and his siding was ripped from his house. The pressure was so strong, that it buckled the rafters in his attic. He feels his family’s safety is owed to his Gerard roof. Amazingly every panel of his roof was intact after the storm.
